FSRA — Financial Services Regulatory Authority

FSRA is the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of ADGM, the financial regulator for Abu Dhabi Global Market. It operates under an English-common-law framework distinct from CBUAE and DFSA.

What it does

FSRA licenses banks, asset managers, brokers, insurance firms, fintech, and virtual-asset service providers operating within ADGM. It runs the ADGM Reglab regulatory sandbox for fintech innovation and operates a dedicated crypto framework (one of the earliest globally). FSRA-licensed firms can serve clients across the UAE and the wider region under ADGM's passporting rules.
