KHDA is the Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the regulator of private education in Dubai — schools, nurseries, training institutes, and universities operating in Dubai's educational free zones.
What it does
KHDA inspects Dubai's private schools annually through its Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) arm, publishing each school's rating on a six-band scale: Outstanding, Very Good, Good, Acceptable, Weak, Very Weak. The inspections cover six performance categories from students' achievement to leadership. KHDA also operates the ParentLink portal for fee disputes and transfer disputes, and runs the Dubai Schools Directory.
