This policy explains what information UAE Inform (“UAE Inform”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects when you use uaeinform.com (the “website”), how it is used, and how to contact us about it.

Server logs

Like most websites, the servers that deliver this website keep standard access logs: the IP address a request came from, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser’s user-agent. We use these logs for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, and keep them only as long as they are needed for those purposes.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used — for example which pages are read, approximate location (country or city), device type and how visitors arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We look at this information only in aggregate and do not use it to identify individual visitors. Messages you send us

If you contact us through the contact page or by email, we receive the information you provide — usually your name, email address and message — and use it only to respond and to act on what you raised, such as correcting an error you reported. Messages are delivered and stored using a third-party email service provider.

What we do not collect

You do not need an account to use the website, and we do not run a newsletter or ask for payment details.

Cookies

The website uses cookies set by Google Analytics (such as _ga) to tell visits apart, so that repeat visits are not counted as new visitors. These cookies do not contain your name, email address or anything you type. When ads are shown, Google and its partners may also set advertising cookies, as described below. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their choice first: until they consent, Google Analytics and advertising cookies are not set. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work.

Advertising

The website uses Google AdSense to show ads. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this website and/or other websites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Where the law requires consent — including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — personalised ads are shown only after you have given consent through a consent message on the website. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell, rent or trade visitor data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website — hosting, analytics, advertising and email delivery — which process it on our behalf, and where disclosure is required by law. These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

How Long Information Is Kept

• Server logs are kept only as long as they are needed for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics data at user and event level is kept by Google Analytics for no more than 14 months and then deleted automatically. Aggregate reports, such as monthly page-view totals, do not identify anyone.
• Messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry.
• Advertising data collected through ad cookies is kept by Google and its partners under their own policies.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, contact us through the contact page or at info@uaeinform.com. Because the website has no accounts, analytics data usually cannot be linked back to a specific person; if we cannot identify any data as yours, we will tell you. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated.
