DLD — Dubai Land Department

DLD is the Dubai Land Department, the Dubai government body that registers property transactions, issues title deeds, and oversees the real-estate sector through its regulatory arm RERA.

What it does

DLD records every property sale, mortgage, gift, and inheritance for Dubai real estate; issues title deeds; collects the 4% transfer fee on property sales; and operates the Dubai REST app for digital property services. It also operates the Oqood platform for off-plan property registration.
