MOE is the UAE Ministry of Education, the federal regulator of public schools, the national curriculum, and higher education accreditation through the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA).
What it does
MOE sets the curriculum framework for federal public schools (Arabic-medium, with Islamic Studies and Moral Education compulsory for nationals and resident Muslims). It also recognises private school curricula taught in the UAE — UK, IB, American, Indian, French and others — and accredits UAE universities and international branch campuses through the CAA.
