Mangrove National Park, also known as the Eastern Mangroves, is a 75 km² protected coastal wetland on the eastern edge of Abu Dhabi island. It is the UAE's largest mangrove ecosystem by biomass and the easiest to combine with central Abu Dhabi attractions.

The Umm Al Quwain mangroves at Khor Al Beidah cover roughly 14,000 hectares — the largest intact mangrove lagoon in the UAE. Half-day kayak and paddleboard tours run year-round at sunrise and sunset.

Al Zorah is Ajman's 2 million m² protected nature reserve — one of the UAE's best places to kayak through mangroves and see resident pink flamingos. A 35-minute drive from Sharjah and 50 minutes from Dubai.
