Wadi Wurayah National Park
Wadi Wurayah is a 129 km² protected wadi in Fujairah's Hajar Mountains and the UAE's first mountain national park, home to a rare year-round waterfall and species including the Arabian tahr and caracal. Public access has been heavily restricted since 2014 to allow ecological recovery, and visits today are typically limited to the public mountain road or sanctioned guided hikes.
Masfout
Masfout is the mountain exclave of Ajman emirate, set deep in the Hajar Mountains near the Oman border roughly 110 km from coastal Ajman. Visitors come for the restored Masfout Castle, switchback mountain drives, and air temperatures that run 8 to 12 °C cooler than the coast.
