ADGM Abu Dhabi Global Market
Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) is the financial free zone of Abu Dhabi, opened for business in 2015. It is one of only two UAE jurisdictions that apply English common law directly, runs its own independent courts, and is home to the FSRA — the GCC's first comprehensive regulator of virtual assets.
ADNIC Insurance
Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) is a composite insurer founded in 1972, listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange since 1991. It covers motor, health, travel, property and life on the retail side, with strong corporate lines in marine, aviation, energy and engineering.
Daman Health Insurance
The National Health Insurance Company (Daman) is the UAE's largest health insurer by member count, covering most of Abu Dhabi's population through Thiqa for nationals and Enhanced plans for residents. Founded in 2006 and part-owned by the Abu Dhabi Government, it pioneered mandatory employer-funded health cover in the emirate.
LuLu Exchange
LuLu Exchange is the UAE-headquartered exchange and remittance arm of the LuLu International retail group, with 190+ branches across the country and a dense in-hypermarket footprint. Strong on Indian sub-continent corridors, the LuLu Money app, and one-stop convenience for shoppers.
Sir Bani Yas Island
Sir Bani Yas Island is an 87 km² natural island in the Arabian Gulf, 150 km west of Abu Dhabi, developed by the late Sheikh Zayed as a wildlife sanctuary. Today it operates as the Arabian Wildlife Park with 17,000+ free-roaming animals, three Anantara resorts, and one of the Gulf's only excavated pre-Islamic Christian monastery sites.
Qasr Al Hosn
Qasr Al Hosn is the oldest standing building in Abu Dhabi city — a watchtower built around 1761 to guard the island's first freshwater well, expanded into the seat of the Al Nahyan ruling family, and reopened in 2018 as a museum after an 11-year restoration. The complex covers the inner fort, the white outer palace, the Cultural Foundation, and the working House of Artisans.
Mangrove National Park Abu Dhabi
Mangrove National Park, also known as the Eastern Mangroves, is a 75 km² protected coastal wetland on the eastern edge of Abu Dhabi island. It is the UAE's largest mangrove ecosystem by biomass and the easiest to combine with central Abu Dhabi attractions.
Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi
Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is a 15-hectare outdoor waterpark on Yas Island, themed around the UAE's pearl-diving heritage and home to 40-plus slides and rides. Headline attractions include the Liwa Loop water-coaster, the six-person Dawwama tornado tube, and the partly-dry Bandit Bomber roller coaster that fires water cannons at riders below.
